IT Application Specialist pilot a success!

First College introduced the delivery of IT Application Specialist Apprenticeships at Intermediate and Advanced levels in January 2013.
Martin Manufacturing UK, based in Louth are a world leader in the creation of dynamic lighting solutions for the entertainment, architectural and commercial sectors. Martin lighting and video systems are renowned the world over. Furthermore, Martin also offer a range of advanced lighting controllers and media servers, as well as a complete line of smoke machines as a complement to intelligent lighting.
Having fostered an excellent working relationship over a number of years, Martins were happy to support a pilot scheme with First College for a small cohort of staff.
May 2014 saw the achievement of these apprenticeships which included Functional Skills in English, Maths and IT. The achievement was celebrated on 10th June with a certificate presentation.
